NIGHT SHIFT

Yup, despite all the protests, negative reactions, and scare tactics, I am now part of the night shift industry... a member-in-trainiing, strictly speaking. So far, so good, my nocturnal habits has served me well, aside from my talent for my yakking my head off. In the past two days, we tackled sales, circadian rhythm, US geography, time zones (math waaah), etc. Coffee helps. Having new friends and an old one here is also invaluable.

Thank God for weekends!!! Managed to hibernate and stock up on sleep, food and clothing (thanks to the 2 cories!). Also, I "indianed"someone again. hay. and i forgot to redeem two stickers for my starbucks planner...huhuhuhu.

btw, im praying for discernment...for my crazy hectic schedule, career and for my MA. deciding on what to specialize in for a masters in education. please pray with me.

i need:

one more week of training

a final evaluation

vacation!!!

a tooth extraction (the left tooth is coming out huhuhu pain)

4 more stickers for my starbucks planner (!)

two more months (hoepfully less) before we move to makati

3 more months before MA applocation deadline

yup, had free net in spurts this past week. but all good things must come to an end...pc based training is done. on to the floor. waaah....

a few more days and it will be judgment day for all of us. now, just watching a lot of  product videos, clarity, role playing and reversing my body clock. so far so good...also got several reassurances that im on the right track so far. but the final say would be the revalida

training. that's been my life for the past two weeks.

5. cool weather and being able to sleep comfortably during the day

I'm actually enjoying my stint in the night shift. After all I'm being paid to do the things I like best: talk, talk some more, surf the net, read, watch videos, eat. And to some extent, the products I'm supposed to sell IS related to my course in college; stuff like training materials for HR soft skills, diversity, sexual harassment, motivation, teamwork, etc. I don't have to battle the traffic and heat of daytime commute...I love (sometimes hate, but mostly love) the LRT. Also, the company's got lotsa incentives hehehe. MA, here I come!

I really must have a looong qt to properly thank Him for everything. That is one negative thing about my whole set up now, I haven't figured out the best time to do my qt regularly.Sana umayos na, miss ko na Siya kabonding eh.

a blessing in the midst of writer's block, and the pressure to write something for Christmas. while I was lurking in Charm's site, i found this:

the restlessness and wandering and wondering is over ...yehey!

well, for now. hehe. i'm beginning to know myself. ADHD...itchy feet...let's wait and see.

still, God is good! I am once more gainfully employed! again, back to coffee gulping, taxpaying, atm holding, bundy clock chasing, and deadline beating. new stuff: night shift, daytime sleeping, mrt-lrt commuting, outbound sales thru calls, goal aiming, product knowledge, good citizenship, etc etc, etc...

next items:

1. find a good sched for regular qt and STICK TO IT

2. join a BS

3. MA application

4. good stewardship of resources and time

5. make over

(this is written as the people around me are screaming their heads off...they just met their dec goal of a staggering amount of dollars in sales..good for them!)
