GETTING MY FEET WET Posted at 03:47 PM I've been teaching for the past week. English, of course, not math. Hehe. Surprisingly (scarily) I'm enjoying myself. I just hope that my student is actually learning something. Let's see how it turns out. Is this it, Lord? |

ONE WON BATTLE Posted at 08:36 AM Last Saturday, the CYF in our church held the annual student reception (SR). i was part of the praise and worship team, and it was a blessing to see so many young people singing, dancing, shouting, giving it all in extravagant worship. my last SR, I think.. Or it should be my last. im not a student anymore...hadn't been for a couple of years now. try as i might to really join the young adults (group for professionals) i just can't seem to fit in. iba pa rin ang takbo ng isip ko sa kanila. my heart is with the youth, in more ways than one... and given my calling, it might stay that way for a long time. hmm... pero minsan di ko na rin sila masakyan. so san ako lulugar? right now im battling with doubts and second thoughts...so soon, sadly, but not surprising given the fact that i've been neglecting my QT lately. temptation often comes after a victory... pray i dont succumb. i keep reminding myself that im not called to a life of ease and comfort. that the security i long for comes with a price that im not willing to pay. the battle is won. i just have to live a life of victory. lock. load. engage. |
